Alexander McQueen’s contemporary diffusion line, McQ offers an extravagant effortlessness for everyday. Celebrating nonconformist creativity with youthful experimentation, McQ offers something unique and innovative with the luxurious aesthetic of the McQueen mainline.

The pre-fall collections from McQ Alexander McQueen offered a heady mix of casualwear certain to take you seamlessly into the new season.

Influenced by 1990s street culture, the McQ womenswear collection showcases exciting digital prints alongside the monochromatic logo branded jersey staples. Incorporating vividly hued pixelated leopard prints with bold checks makes for statement dressing alongside seasonal favourites including classic twill blazers and pea coats. With tartan a McQ staple referencing punk culture, 80s club culture and rebel youths, this season the key check is the ink blue and dark green Rupert tartan with the leggings a season must-have.

For McQ menswear, the biggest inspiration came in the form of old school video games and chalk drawings. Injecting a playful element into the range, pixelated graphics and scratched textures formed the main body of the collection alongside hand-drawn illustrations and the signature McQ razor print. There is an emphasis on clean cut lines both in the formal tailoring and more casual pieces with key colours of Darkest Black and Optic White in keeping with the classic dark McQueen styling.
