Seen on the likes of Alexa Chung, Jessica Alba, Robert Pattinson and Pharrell Williams, it’s hard to believe the modern, fashion forward brand are over forty years old. Originating as a Parisian boutique in 1970 by Japanese-born designer Kenzo Takada, the brand soon grew from hand-made one-off womenswear pieces to a full fashion house. By 1983, Kenzo debuted his first men’s ready-to-wear collection followed by his famous fragrances.

In July 2011, founders of Opening Ceremony, Humberto Leon and Carol Lim were appointed as creative directors and have revolutionised Kenzo with a contemporary twist of the spirit it was originally founded on. During 2012, the dynamic design duo reintroduced the jungle to the Kenzo brand, subsequently becoming instantly recognisable worldwide.

The distinctive tiger print has become a wardrobe essential featuring across a selection of T-shirts, sweatshirts and accessories for men, women and children each season. Other statement designs have become iconic including the ubiquitous eye print, the classic ‘K’ and the ‘No Fish, No Nothing’ iconography from the most recent Spring/Summer campaign.
