LONDON FASHION WEEK - THE REVIEW

LONDON FASHION WEEK - THE REVIEW

Now that London Fashion Week is over for another season, we are taking a look back over the past crazy five days.

The Shows

Vivid colours prevailed at Markus Lupfer and Burberry Prorsum, although Joseph stayed true to a pared-back neutral palette. Pick your tribe for SS15 and take notes. Lupfer’s surfer girls stuck to neon pastels in an enticing array of textured materials (read the full review here) whilst Burberry (read the review here) championed vibrant colour combinations of canary yellow, fuchsia and lime green. Joseph, on the other hand styled stark whites and soft grey hues head-to-toe (read the review here). Other highlights included Matthew Williamson’s muse of Marie Helvin in the 1970s, Paul Smith’s fusion of masculine and feminine styling and Mulberry’s collection of ladylike bags.

The Bloggers

Our favourite bloggers were out in full force, championing chic monochrome layers and on-trend flat shoes. Styling tips for the season ahead include investing in oversized knitwear, culottes and the perfect pair of slide-on skater shoes.

The Model

We were thrilled to host an Instagram takeover from Brazilian model Larissa Goldner on the Saturday of London Fashion Week. Head over to our Instagram feed to watch Larissa’s runway rehearsals and view behind the scenes snaps.

Best Dressed

But who deserves the coveted title of ‘Best Dressed’ at London Fashion Week? It’s a tie-up between Martha Ward in her Chloe lace dress and snakeskin bag, fashion-editor Sarah Harris’s minimalist chic and Olivia Palermo in Gestuz. Kate and Cara’s double-act front row at the Burberry Show stands out as our most striking fashion moment.
