To celebrate Vogue Fashion’s Night Out coming to Manchester for the first time, Flannels hosted an exclusive evening with designer Matthew Williamson at the Spinningfields store.

Matthew was on hand to meet customers and even offer styling advice of his current collection. Guests came in their plenty for a chance to catch a glimpse of the world-renowned designer and for an opportunity to chat to him about his current collections.

Special guests attended the evening including Vogue Editor Alexandra Shulman, alongside Lucy Bower, Fashion Assistant and Martha Ward from Vogue TV, with Nicky Clarke also joining the celebrations on the night.

The store showcased the AW13 catwalk pieces exclusively available for purchase on the night alongside the collections available at Flannels, with one lucky customer winning two tickets to the Matthew Williamson AW14 show at London Fashion Week next Spring.

The guests enjoyed a champagne reception and sipped Basil Grand cocktails courtesy of Neighbourhood, a New York inspired eatery and bar located in The Avenue North in Spinningfields, and macaroons from the local English Rose Bakery were served in colours inspired by Matthew’s collections.

Beauty pampering was provided by Nails Inc nail bar treating guest to special manicures with their limited edition Pinkie Pink nail varnish, supporting Breast Cancer Awareness month in addition to eyebrow expert Jo Pallan offering complimentary eyebrow shaping.

To end the evening, guests were treated to goody bags including the latest Matthew Williamson lookbooks, Nails Inc Pinkie Pink / Matthew Williamson nail varnish, AW13 copies of STYLEetc. magazine, Charles Worthington hair treats, ZICO coconut water, English Rose Bakery macaroons and more!
