On Trend: Street Style At LFWM

London Fashion Week Men's has drawn to a close (all too soon, if you ask us) and as ever the capital was awash with some of the most daring and surprisingly wearable street style of any of the big four host cities. Equal parts contemporary, stylish and athletic (think the-lads-meets-Yohji Yamamoto), there was still a welcome hint of the left-field quirkiness the Big Smoke is famous for, too. Here are four ways to reinterpret some of the slickest trends from the weekend.

HIGH 'N' LOW

Mix high and low pieces together in a style akin to that of a street-savvy David Gandy. Wear an iconic Off White hoody with a luxe belt and smart trousers courtesy of London’s queen of style, Vivienne Westwood.

THE LOGO

Yes, it’s still here, and it’s not going anywhere (you can thank the style gods for that.) Fashion is still in love with the logo – it lends any outfit an element of tribal affiliation that those in love with designers can’t get enough of.

ATHLETIC LUXE

This is a trend that’s been on the circuit for quite some time now, and it’s put down some serious roots. Mix signature sportswear pieces like jogging bottoms with smarter, work-wear inspired soft tailoring to smarten it up and pull your look together.

BOLD PRINTS

Okay, so the stylish man to your right may be wearing Burberry, and we may be offering you Gucci, but there was no-one on the streets at LFWM rocking house signature prints like this guy. Put an Italian twist on things with Gucci’s Supreme zip-up bomber and a matching jumper.
